General info:
This cool theme plays during the anime introduction sequence.

About the original:
I think the music in MMX4 is very, very good, and this song is no exception. It manages to build up that nice hero feeling that you want in these games, and at the same time it manages to have a nice theme in itself. I love it.

Motivation:
Requested by David Phillip.

Sequencing the MIDI:
Ooo. This one was a challenge, mainly because I'd heard a lot of versions of this song and wanted to outdo them all. The intro guitar slide sounds a bit strange, but I think it comes as close as possible to the original. Then we have the background, which consists of a hammond organ and a frantic saw wave (which was hell to work out, especially when it goes up). At the end, I noticed that the tempo steadily increases in the original, so I tried to implement that in the MIDI. I think it turned out very nice! Oh, and I refrained from pitching the melody saw wave notes together at the end there because I didn't want it to sound out of tune.

About the ending result:
I really like how this one turned out!
