General info:
This cool and original theme kicks in when you´re attacked by one of the eight stage bosses in the game.

About the original:
Maybe it´s just me being wierd, but I´ve always loved this song. It´s hectic, powerful, energetic - everything I think a boss battle theme should be. It´s just something about that screaming saw wave at the end there, I guess...

Motivation:
Requested by Dragoon.

Sequencing the MIDI:
This one presented me with a heap of problems. First of all came the arpeggios that play throughout the first part of the song - I had to listen very closely to hear what they were up to. As usual when it comes to MMX songs they turned out to be a lot more simple to pin down than I thought (since they follow a very distinct pattern). I used pitch bending on the saw wave melody to get it to sound as close to the original as possible. Even if it still sounds a bit off, I think it came out quite okay.

About the ending result:
This is one of my sequenced MIDIs that I can listen to just because I like it.
