About the original:
I love this song, myself. As the listener will probably be quick to realise, it is a slow remix of the theme that plays in Zero´s introduction stage.

Motivation:
I picked this one at random, actually. I closed my eyes and jabbed a finger at the screen, and then I had to sequence this.

Sequencing the MIDI:
This song is actually a lot more complex than you would think when listening to it, and I soon found that out the hard way. The electric piano wasn´t at all hard to pin down, but then came the background choir which was a bit harder, and later I was hit by the realisation that the piano had a fade-out effect that closely resembled an overdrive guitar. What I did was this; I used an overdrive guitar to play the same notes as the piano, and then, when the piano plays one long note, the guitar fades in and pitchbend-vibrates for a short moment before fading into silence again. Using this technique I was able to copy the original very effectively, and I´m proud of the result.

About the ending result:
I´m satisfied with it.
